Design talk: Hotspotz designer Blackbird Studios highlighted

This short talk will introduce you to Blackbird Studios, one of the designers with unique products present at Hotspotz – upstairs Next Level (the place where color, eye-catchers and designers come together in an inspiring area).

MORE ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
I make various disco objects (including mushrooms and wall hangers) that spread beautiful light reflections when they are in the light. I also make glass tile coasters, jewelry dishes, and unique key chains with dried flowers! I continue to experiment with new materials and now work mostly with disco tiles, colored glass tiles, and epoxy resin.

I am Merel (20), sociology student and owner of Blackbird Studios. All my life I’ve been creative and since 6 years I sell my creations online all over the world, and physically in Dutch stores. I love colorful, unique interior decoration and like to make products that make people happy.
