Ilse Bouwens graduated from the Arts & Crafs Academy Willem de Kooning in Rotterdam in 2020. Under the brand name – Heeej.nl! she develops her own collection. With her designs she wants to inspire people to make sustainable choices.
The farm in the South of The Netherlands where Ilse grew up, was an inspiring surrounding. Not only for the nature around her. With residual materials she found in her father’s workshop she could experiment a lot. So she finished her first proto types there.
